Returns and Refunds Policy for Gosca
GOSCA IT Solutions (“GOSCA”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to ensuring customer satisfaction. This Returns and Refunds Policy applies to products purchased and services rendered through our websites: www.gosca.co.za, clientzone.gosca.co.za, and related sales channels.
This policy is governed by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA) of South Africa.

1. Cooling-Off Period (Online / Distance Sales)
For purchases made online or through distance contracts, you have a 7-day cooling-off period from the date you receive the goods (in accordance with the ECTA).
- You may return the goods for any reason within 7 days.
- Goods must be returned in their original, unused condition, with all packaging, accessories, and documentation intact.
- You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods (unless the item is defective).
- We will process your refund within 15 business days after receiving the returned item.
2. Defective, Damaged, or Faulty Products (CPA Section 56)
All goods come with a statutory 6-month warranty against defects.
If a product is defective, unsafe, or not fit for the intended purpose within 6 months of delivery, you may return it and choose one of the following:
- A full refund
- A replacement
- A repair (at our cost)
- We will cover the reasonable cost of return shipping for defective items.
- If the same defect reoccurs within 3 months after a repair, you are entitled to a replacement or full refund.
3. Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded unless they are defective:
- Refurbished or used devices that have been opened and used beyond testing.
- Custom-built or personalised items (e.g., custom-configured computers or engraved devices).
- Software licenses and digital downloads (once activated).
- Consumables (e.g., cables, adapters, cleaning kits) that have been opened.
- Event tickets (after the event has passed or within 48 hours of the event).
- Repair services once work has commenced (subject to prior quotation approval).
- Items damaged due to misuse, liquid damage, or unauthorised repair.
4. Change of Mind Returns
- Change of mind returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for new, unopened items.
- A restocking fee of up to 15% may be deducted.
- The item must be in resaleable condition.
5. How to Initiate a Return
- Contact us within the allowed period at sales@gosca.co.za or +27 76 481 4165.
- Provide your order number, proof of purchase, and reason for return.
- Await our return authorisation (RA) number.
- Ship the item back to: 72 Rose Avenue, Wilgehof, Bloemfontein, 9301, South Africa
6. Refund Process
- Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you via email.
- Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
- Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days (depending on your bank).
- We do not refund shipping costs unless the item is defective.
7. Repairs and Service Work
- All repair work is quoted in advance.
- You must approve the quotation before work begins.
- Once approved and work is completed, the repair service is generally non-refundable unless the issue persists due to our workmanship.
